A Message from Our President:
It is a pleasure to welcome you to the New England Woodcarvers website. To have survived and grow as an effective organization is a remarkable testimony to the men and women who provided the leadership for over four decades. Their commitment to keeping the vision of its founders alive deserves much credit. The old-timers have left their footprint of wood art across the Northeast region. Many are now being replaced with a new cadre of carvers who are creating their own niche using more modern carving skills and techniques.
Our mission today has not changed. The New England Woodcarvers continues to advance all types of wood carving skills among its members. Moreover the membership promotes woodcarving, wood sculpture, and whittling as art forms in communities throughout New England and other parts of the United States.
New England Woodcarvers Inc. membership meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month in October, December, February, April, and June. These meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Campus Center at Middlesex Community College. All levels of carvers as well as newcomers regularly attend these meetings. As president of this prominent woodcarving organization I extend an open invitation for you to join us at any of our Membership meetings. I'm sure you will experience a rewarding day.
This website is designed to share information with the members of our organization and to provide online users with a view of our continuous activities. Visit our website often to keep abreast of what the club is doing throughout the year and take full advantage of what the New England Woodcarvers has to offer. In many respects our journey has just begun. With a new vision of excellence, we plan to improve the oganization. Working together w
